Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a white spot over the tonsil seems to be a pus pocket that is formed secondary to infection in throat and tonsillitis and is commonly due to bacterial throat infection..
It might take a longer time to resolve as compared to the resolution of the symptoms of pain and sore throat..
It is generally harmless and will not lead to anything serious..
In case if the white spot is still present you need not to is worry and consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and in case if it is a pus pocket you can be advised a short course of antibiotics like Amoxicillin [considering your medical history of pregnancy, it is considered safe]..
You can take Acetaminophen if there is pain..
Do warm saline gargles and do steam inhalations..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
