Is Painless DPT Vaccine Safe For Children?

My daughter is 1 year 9 months old she was due for DTP, first dosage was PAINLESS, now recently I heard that painless is not advisable, but the doctor told me that since she had the first dosage PAINLESS she has to take the same for the rest. my question is it necessary to have PAINLESS for the remaining dosages
