Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last Sunday I had my appendix removed. I came home on Tuesday. I was told before I left hospital that I needed to have my gall bladder removed in a year as I have stones but that is all I was told, Now the diabetic doctor has called and taken me off of an appetite suppressent that I was takeing to help in my weight loss program because the hospital report says I have pancretitis but nothing else has been said or done. According to my web site pancretitis c ould be serious or dangerous. What do I do next?
Pancreatitis can be individual or a secondary condition, pancreatitis can in the long run if primary cause you a certaun amount of discomfort. But very rarely does it result in fatalities, especially if well taken care of by a doctor. First find the cause for your pancreatitis and have a detailed dicussion about the same.
Best wishes.
