Is Permanent Birth Control Or A Vaginal Hysterectomy Better Option To Avoid Pregnancy Due To Heart Surgery History?

Hi I am trying to debate wheter to do Essure for permanent birth control or have a vaginal hysterectomy done. I am 40 yrs old, hx of heart surgery. So it is imperative that I do not get pregnant by accident. I also have a polyp in my uterus that has been making me very miserable during my menstral cycle.
