Is Permanent Braces The Right Treatment For Buckteeth?
I have buckteeth my lower jaws teeth are one over the other i asked a dentist he told me that he will give me permanent braces(pin).I have gap in my upper teeth but there is no gap in my lower teeth so the doctor told me to get streghten teeth i have to pull off my teeth beside the teeth which is one over the other. Is it right to put out the teeth which is good?
Well, Buckteeth can be treated and teeth can be aligned with Orthodontic treatment or braces, however the exact condition of the jaw or the teeth has to be first evaluated first. If the Dentist told you that braces can be placed for aligning the teeth then you should go ahead with the treatment.
Also, if there is no space in the lower jay, then Yes few teeth needs to be removed (extracted) for bringing other teeth into alignment. I would also suggest you to always get the Orthodontic treatment done by a specialist or an orthodontist for better results.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
