Is Persistent And Uncontrollable Yawning In A Diabetic Patient A Concern?

I am a type one diabetic and I am yawning uncontrollably. Diabetes is in good check no chest pain just feel like my throat is tight. (Kind of like I am going to swallow my uvula but it is not swollen) I am concerned because I see this is linked to cardiovascular disease and I have had diabetes for 17 years. I am 28 years old. Is this something to be worried about?
