Is Persistent Attachment Of Tick To Body Suggestive Of Lyme Disease?

I have found a tick attached to my body. My partner has removed it and treated the site with iodine but the tick was partially swollen. I cared for a friends dog off a farm two weeks ago so it might have been there for that long. It was between my gluteus maxamai so somehow went undetected until now. Should I get tested for Lymes disease?

hello

thank you for posting at HCM.

As you said , it was between Gl. Max and it has been two was since you probably got the infection, do you have any redness or swelling at the site of bite? If not, have you had a bit of fever or any sluggish movements of any part of your body? Have you been having going pains lately?

If your answer is no to above, you are probably not infected with Lyme's yet, but a decisive diagnosis or as some say, prevention is better than cure, get yourself tested for Lyme's from any GP.

hope to have answered you sufficiently

Thanks
