Is Persistent Cold And Shortness Of Breath Related To Pneumonia?

Hello. my mom has been fighting a cold for a couple of weeks, it seemed to have gotten better. However, today, she is short of breath. i m talking her into going to urgent care as I have known several people who had pneumonia and didn t know it. your thoughts?

Thanks for asking this question.

According to your cheif complain first you have to do complete blood count .it help us to decide our diagnosis.

Take one chest x-Ray if any consolidation present than it idicate pneumonia.

Sputum test also help us to decide our diagnosis.
