Is Persistent Left-sided Back Pain In Certain Position A Symptom Of Muscle Strain?

Lower back pain, left side, only when I move certain ways. Worse when I rise from a seated position. Otherwise can perform routine activities such as vacuuming, walking and dusting. Thought muscle strain, but has lasted two weeks with no change. Thanks. YYYY@YYYY

The symptoms point towards an entity called facet joint arthropathy but diagnosis is to be confirmed by physical examination in the hands of an orthopaedic or pain physician. The cause of the same is mostly wear and tear and due to lifestyle issues. Diagnosis can be confirmed by inaging such as MRI. Treatment includes exercise regimes, oral medications, interventional pain management ( injections into the said joint or nerve ablation).
