Is Persistent Upper Abdominal Pain Related To The Gallbladder?

i just went througha day and a half of vomiting almost every hour , the only way it stopped was the Emerrgency rtoom gavbe me some pill to make me stop . The problem is a pain , just above my stomach like in between my lower rib cage . It feels like a hunger pain then turns into a very painful cramp. its right in the middle of my body just above my stomach under my rib cage . i was given dicyclomine, to deal with the cramping i guess , but it doesnt seem to work .. im still in pain . could this be my gall bladder ?
