Is Physical Therapy Advisable While Having Mild Cough?

I was diagnosed with Walking Pneumonia and was put on Zithromax. I also have Patanase, Bevesi and azelastine hcl. The Fever was gone after the initial double douse of Zithromax. I still, however, feel a bit sluggish and have a small cough ( The cough never went from dry to wet and I never spit anything up) Drinking like a fish. (Water, tea etc). What do you suggest as I have work on Monday? Is it o.k to go to Physical Therapy next Wednesday?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Unfortunately the cough can persist for weeks after all of the other symptoms resolve, this occurs in some persons, not all.

A cough suppressant such as robitussin would help to reduce your coughing at work.
If the physical therapy is not too strenuous and you feel better, then you can go.

I hope this helps
