I have a sharp pain in my left shoulder and it hurts to lift my arm up above a certain point. Now I just gotten this sharp pulsating pain and the very top of my shoulder. I visited the doctor and he said it may be an agitated rotator cuff or a torn ligamen (sorry for the horrible spelling :)) and told me to take phyiscal theropy. Is this enough

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion this may not the case of torn ligament but this could be frozen shoulder and for that physiotherapy is the best way one can try, in medicine Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day would be fine, hope this information helps, take care.
