Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I noticed a small pimple or cyst on my scrotum about a month ago. I tried popping it a few times but it wouldn t it never really had a head on it. About a week ago I noticed it felt like it was growing inside of my scrotum. It has grown to about 2 cm in the past week. The pimple like thing on the outside is nearly gone now. Should I be worried?
A pimple on the scrotum is usually harmless, but it may also be a sign of a virus or infection.
The scrotum can be particularly affected by pimples because sweat and moisture often build up and clog pores in the area. Sweat and dead skin cells are common causes of pimples.
So there is nothing to worry. You should try keep the area dry and these pimples are usually harmless unless.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
