Is Pink/red Spotting And Discharge Normal After Taking Plan B?
Is pink/red spotting and discahrge normal 10 days after taking plan b? My boyfriend and I had protected sex about10-11 days ago, it was my first time having sex as well. I used plan b right after wards but we ended up having sex again the day after I took the plan b pill. He used and came in the condom but now I am confused as to what this spotting may mean. I am 5 5, 17 years old and 150 pounds.
Yes, experiencing red or pink spotting and discharge after taking Plan B contraceptive (levonorgestrel) is considered a common and normal side effect. Plan B is an emergency contraceptive pill. It contains levonorgestrel hormone in high dose. It disrupts the hormonal balance.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
