Is Placenta In Anterior Upper Segment Normal?

hello sir now iam 26 th week pregnant my ultrasound report is B P D.61MM, AC is 220mm, F L is 47mm fetal weight 892 grams+/_130 grams,
IMPRESSION: placenta is anterior upper segment , grade 2 ( fetal heart rate is 169/bpm, sevixe is 40 mm normal interior oc closed.how is my report ? plz tell me sir

Hello and I hope I can answer your question.

An anterior placenta means the placenta is located on the front side of your uterus and is in the upper part. Grade 2 means a normal early third trimester placenta. The rest of the report just has the measurements of the baby, and also states that your cervix is closed, which is also normal at this time in pregnancy.

So... you do not have to worry... you have a completely normal ultrasound exam.
