My mother in law was hospitalized last year with pneumonia. Over the years, of her residing in FLA, she had frequent boughts of bronchitis. If this is a viral infection, can my husband pick up the infection while caregiving for her in NYS? If it is a bacterial infection can my husband pick up the infection while caregiving for my mother in law? I am a caregiver for my father who resides next door to me and my mother in law would like to go shopping with him on Saturdays, would this be a bad idea until she is feeling better. As we all do not want to be sick when caregiving for each other.
