Is Possible Left Atrial Enlargement With ST-T Wave Abnormalities A Matter Of Concern?
For the last 15 yrs my EKG has come back the same. Stating normal sinus rhythm, possible left atrial enlargement, st &t wave abnormality, consider inferior ischemia, st & t wave abnormality, consider anterolatreal ischemia. I ve been to two Cardiologist and many doctors. No one seems concern. Should I me. Thank you
The statement about the ECG itself is a bit concerning as it says about some possibility of cardiac disease of vessels.
However, if this has been for 15 years and you don't have any chest pain then the report may not be very accurate. In fact, these machines made reports are not very accurate.
If you are already seen by 2 cardiologists and they signalled ok, and you don't have any chest pain or shortness of breath then you should not be worried at all. Just ignore the report.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
