Is Post Concussion Syndrome Serious?

I ve been diagnosed with post concussion syndrome. I hit my head on January 17, and my headache has been non-stop since. It seems to be getting worse though; I can t lay my head down on my pillow comfortably, and I could do so just last night. Is this serious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
I am sorry to hear that you have had a closed head trauma or post concussion syndrome. Your headaches maybe there for several weeks but they will gradually go away. You may have some mild memory problems and learning issues for several weeks but again with time you will get better. The best thing is to get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids and eat a well balanced diet. If you are not better by March I recommend you seek further medical attention.
