Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Posterior Tibial Tendonitis In Both Legs Curable?
I have posterior tibial tendonitis in both legs. I have been having pain for about 5 months. I also have ankle instability on the right and will be having a surgery in 2 weeks. I am very concerned about not being able to at some point even walk without pain. I am on disability for now. maybe for 3 months. I am a floor nurse. My surgeon told me I need to to change jobs like to QC in the hospital or Home Health. I am worried I will never heal.
Please discuss your condition, progression and chances of cure or remission with your orthopedic surgeon before going for any procedure. Also, ask for full explanation before signing any documents.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Azeem Ullah, General & Family Physician
