Is Pre Diabetes, Symptomatic With Rashes Around The Neck And Chest?

hi my 12 year old son has this rash around his neck and chest. it has come and gone in the past we finally went to a dermotologist and he says my son has Acanthosis Nigricans. My son is not over weight he is tall and I do have type 2 diabetes. the dermotologist was suggesting that my son may be pre diabetic should I get a second opinion or should I consider giving him a liver detox b

their is family history so go for checking blood glucose and confirm it nothing to worry till. and cheak kft and lft and consultants to family physician
and also chaeak the thyroid profiles
