Is Pregnancy Advisable After A Laparotomy?
Hi, I underwent a laparotomy in August 2014 due to having a strangulated bowel. I ve been left with a 6.5 vertical abdominal scar. I ve healed very well and I ve no problems since. I returned to exercise in January, I m 34, 68kgs and 5ft 9.5 and have never been pregnant before. I want to know how long should I wait before trying for a baby? Thank you

No problem to plan pregnancy now as it has been more than6 yrs post laparotomy. As you have returned to exercises, it's a good time you can try to conceive and have a pregnancy without complications.
