General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry for the termination of your girlfriend pregnancy. However, if she tested HIV positive, I think , she should get further treatment until she will be ready for another pregnancy. So, better consult with infectious disease specialist (IDS), and get treatment as soon as possible. Discuss with IDS about having another pregnancy, and care you should get and follow.

All the best. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
