Is Pregnancy Possible After Implanon Placement?

I am using implanon and I seriously want to have a baby.... the problem is they have inserted it deeply and now it s hard to get it out as I have gained...... I want to know if it s dangerous to be pregnant with implanon and how can I get pregnant with it??? I seriously need a baby

Hello,

Don't worry about the removal. There are options like using local anesthesia, which causes numbness around that site and then it's easy for the doctor to remove it.

The usual effect of implant lasts for 3 years. But it's always advisable to remove any external hormones from the body. Once the implant is removed try using folic acid medication for preconception.
