Is Pregnancy Possible After Having The Tubes Tied?
HI I m a 44 yr old my tubes are tied & I didn t have a cycle last month I took a test it was positive I think false positive also would it be hard to get them untied due to me having a lot of bleeding ,cramps getting them tied was the worst thing I did

Hi,
Firstly I would like to inform you that there are cases where failure of tubal ligation are reported. Secondly it is even possible that it can be false positive pregnancy test.
1) In order to make sure you have pregnancy you have to get a repeat UPT test done. If its positive then it indicates a certain increase in Hcg levels which can be due to pregnancy or any other cause.
2) If the UPT is negative then wait for 2 to 3 days for the menses to arrive. If it doesn't visit a gynecologist for thorough examination. The reasons for your symptoms could be certainly evaluated then.
Bear in mind that you fall in the age group when menopause mostly occurs. hence the premenopausal symptoms may affect you. So do not worry, these conditions are common in females of your age group. But I recommend you to get examined physically and evaluated accordingly.
