Is Pregnancy Possible After Taking I-pill Post Intercourse?
Hii i had sex with my girlfriend on 1st december and found that my condom is torn but i dint feel like i ejaculated in her. But she took ipill on 2nd december after 22 hours, she doesnt feel anything after taking ipill. And she drank ginger tea after unprotected sex now shes drinking daily twice and eating papaya also. Please tell me is there any chance of her getting pregnant?? How to know that ipill is working?? Within how many days does bleeding occur?? Will she be safe as she took under 24 hours and had ginger tea after sex??? When to check pregnancy test?? Please help us we are tensed

I understand your concern. I pill was taken with in 22 hours and it is highly effective in preventing pregnancy. It has 95 % effective in preventing pregnancy. So chance of pregnancy only 0-5%.
1. There is no tests or symptoms tell that I pill is working
2. I pill can cause hormonal imbalance.Withdrawal bleeding can occur in 50% cases after 5-7 days. Next period can be earlier, delayed by 1-2 week and excessive bleeding can occur. So do not worry if period will delay by 2 weeks.
3. She is 95% safe. There is no role of ginger tea and papaya. It does not cause successful prevention in pregnancy.
4. If period will delay by more than 2 week then go for urine pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy. You can also go for blood HCG test 10 days after sex to confirm pregnancy. Blood HCG test is more accurate and detect pregnancy earlier than urine pregnancy test.
