Is Pregnancy Possible After Taking Postinor 2?

Hello, My name is Mary. I took postinor 2 on three different times this month. I have had sex a number times afterwards and my man came into me. I have missed my period for 6 days and I tested negative to pregnancy three days after the miss. Ii tested today on the 6th missed day and its positive. Can I really be pregnant? Can the postinol 2 delay menses up to one week or more? Thanks.

In my opinion and according to provided information, I can say postinor 2 can cause irregular menstrual cycles transiently means eighter it can cause delayed menses or intermenstrual bleeding.Your menstrual cycle will become regularize from next cycle.

But you also mentioned about positive pregnancy test. If your pregnancy test strongly positive I would suggest you to do an ultrasonography to confirm pregnancy.

One more advice please avoid frequent use of emergency contraceptive pills because it may have grave side effects on your health.

Please consult your local family physician for further work up
