Is Pregnancy Possible After Taking Postinor 2?
Hello doc.
I had unprotected sex exactly 21days after I had a still birth through ceaseran section...so I took 1 tablet of postinor 2 before 72 hours elapsed .In the course of waiting to take the 2nd tablet after 12 hours as per the prescription I had another unprotected sex since my partner refuse to use condom.
Pls I need urgent advise cos I don't want to get pregnant now until my incision is fully healed.

Understand your concern
If you had sex in the safe period cycle and has taken pill with in 24 hour after sex then it is highly effective in preventing the pregnancy (95 % successful in preventing the pregnancy). But postinor 2 is protect the pregnancy against the only one sexual intercourse.
It does not protect against the another sexual intercourse if you had intercourse after taking the both pill.
Do not use Postinor 2 as regular contraceptive as it cause hormonal imbalance and fertility problem.
Convince your partner to use condoms and do sex in the safe period of cycle to prevent the unwanted pregnancy.
