Is Pregnancy Possible After Taking Postinor-2?

I had unprotected sex with my Boyfriend on 27august, and I took postinor 2 on 29 August. Today on 3 September, I started bleeding. My period is supposed to come on 17 September, two weeks later. Is this bleeding due to postinor or implantation? Should I wait for my period to come for real? If is it because of postinor, how Long will I bleed for? And if my period is to come early, how early is it? Thank you!

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Postinor is an emergency contraceptive pill. What you have done is right as it needs to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

It prevents pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake.

If the bleeding what you are experiencing lasts like period, then it is bleeding caused due to intake of pill and not the implantation bleeding.

Because of the intake of pill and bleeding happening following it, your period schedule may change accordingly. Next period should happen as regular as before and should continue with the same.
