Hi, just wanted to know that after unprotected sex on 23rd of August and she had ipill within 5 hr . Her regular period cycle was 9th August. Is there any chances of getting pregnant and if she will continue with regular period cycle . When should the next period happen and if any change in the period cycle for next n next to next month . As you have mentioned that you have taken your emergency contraceptive pill within the recommended time of the drug therefore the chances of pregnancy are quite slim as it is almost 89% effective.
Contraceptive pills have a side effect of altering the menstrual cycle therefore a delay in periods can be expected.

I would recommend that in case she misses her periods by two weeks she should take a pregnancy test just to rule out any pregnancy.
