Is Pregnancy Possible After Tubal Ligation?

I am 38 and have a tubal.my last period was jan 3, and have symptoms of pregnancy,i have taken home test they were very faint positives .I went to my obgyn they did a urine test .They said was negative.But wanted me to come back the following week to make sure i wasnt having miscarriage.I had some bleeding the night before my appointment.i went today and got the results for the blood test and also negative.they ordered a sonogram for next week to check for fibriods .Im curious to know if i can still be possibly pregnant and my Dr. Just not wanting me to worry.I am just concerned and i have had a miscarriage in the past.

I read your question, yes there is a remote possibility of getting pregnant after ligation. However what sounds from your case is that here pregnancy is very least likely. The negative test ate pretty reassuring, you must not be now worried a lot but yes the sonography is important to be sure about the case of the bleeding, so I would suggest don't be worried a lot but go ahead with what your doctor advised.
