Is Pregnancy Possible After Withdrawal Method Of Intercourse?

So I had sex 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend. He has a penis problem (where he only ejaculates by pressure points) so when we had sex he did ejaculate but no where near my vagina. He pulled out when he felt remotely close. So nothing was inside. We did it again afterwards BUT he showered before we did it again. Do you think I could be pregnant

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

Yes, pregnancy can occur after withdrawal method.

The failure rate of withdrawal method ("coitus interruptus") or the pull out method is about 22 %. Even if he had pulled out in time, pregnancy can still happen.

This is because of the pre-ejaculate, or pre-cum can pick up enough active and motile sperms left in the urethra from a previous ejaculation to cause pregnancy. If he urinates between ejaculations before having sex again, it will help clear the urethra of sperm and may increase the effectiveness of withdrawal.

Do the home pregnancy test if your next period is delayed.

Hope this will help.
