Dear Madam, Hi & Welcome. Kindly repeat the pregnancy on an early morning urine sample for more reliability. Fertomid (Clomiphene) is generally prescribed for infertility due to anovulation. It increases production of gonadotropins and causes the ovaries to release 1 or more eggs. You should take your Fertomid tablets once daily with or without food at the same time each day, starting ideally from the day 2 of the menstrual cycle. and continued for 5 days and then follicular monitoring (by ultrasonography) should be done to see the growth of the follicles. when the size of follicle reaches 22-24 mm, then it is likely to rupture and a hcg 10000IU injection is given IM to cause ovulation which usually occurs by day 14-16 depending on the follicular monitoring status. So in order to increase the chance of pregnancy you should have sex from day 11 to day 22 of the cycle which would be your fertile period. If you have not ovulated after 5 days of treatment, your doctor may recommend another treatment cycle and your dose may be increased. Hope to have answered your query. Best of luck.
