Hello,
Yes, although it is very rare
pregnancy is possible despite using
Mirena IUD.
The
hormonal IUDs like' Mirena' are one of the best contraceptives 99% effective in preventing an unwanted pregnancy.
That means less than 1 percent of women who use Mirena will get pregnant in a year of typical use.
The 'light blue curved' line in the positive spot as noted in your home pregnancy test is suggestive of an early pregnancy.
As soon as you become pregnant, your body begins producing
human chorionic gonadotropin (
hCG).
The strength of the positive test line depends on how much hCG is in your urine. The light or faint line is caused by low levels of the hCG in the early pregnancy.
As your pregnancy progresses, the levels of hCG will rise, so if you choose to test again, you will likely see a much stronger positive line. I advise you to repeat the hpt preferably on an early morning urine sample.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
