Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Having PCOD?

Hi.i have been diagnosed with pcod and having thyroid also (TSH level increased). Presently thyroid is in control (2.22 TSH). My periods are very irregular that is once in a three months. My doctor have prescribed me meprate for five days and I m taking it.but the real problem is that is there any possibilities for conceiving while having irregular periods and thyroid. Is this ok to take meprate dosage course for 3 or 6 months?

Hi,

Pregnancy is possible while having PCOD provided your irregular periods is being corrected and timely ovulation occurs by means of medications.

Also, thyroid hormone levels need to be maintained under normal limits. Following treatment, it may take about 6 months for fertility to be back to normal.

Kindly take the medication like Meprate as per the prescription and do the necessary follow-up with your doctor as advised.
