Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Protected Intercourse?

Hi akifa here dr i have protected intercpurse on 1 july with my hubby and started femilon from 2 july inbetween i missed 1 tablet bt didnt had intercourse have taken medicine till 23 july now today is 4 day i didnt get my period is there is a chances of pregnancy

*when did your get your period before July 1st?
*are your periods regular?

Based on the sequence of events, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. However, very small risk of pregnant is present.

If you don't get your period for another 3 days, take a home pregnancy test. If negative and still no period for a week after that, see your OBGYN to check for ovarian cysts.

Stress, illness, travel, sudden weight changes and lifestyle changes can delay period for upto 2 weeks.

This is normal. If this recurs you may need to check for hormonal imbalances like thyroid and prolactin levels.
