Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking an Emergency Contraceptive pill?

I took my brith controll pill 2 months in a row due to an upcoming vacation, i was worried about break through bleeding so i did it a couple months before the vacation to be sure. After the two packets i didn t have my period. I ve been having sex with my boyfriend so i was nervous. We use condoms and obviously I m using the pill. I took two test a few weeks apart and got negative results. I started my next packet on time, and just finished. I usually get my period two days after I ve stopped but haven t seen it yet. Is this normal? Is it just an imbalance?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, you need not worry much. These are just hormonal imbalances which will return back very soon. It is advisable that you stick to the routine of your pill and don't discontinue or start randomly. Also, you must consider the use of inject-able contraception drugs and/or intrauterine contraceptive devices.

Take care,
Regards
