Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I-pill?

Hi I had sex with my bf on last day of my periods and got ejaculated inside twice, since I am afraid I took an ipill . Now after one week it s started vaginal bleeding, not as much as periods. Is it will affect my pregnancy in future? Will it damage my reproductive system?

Hi,

I cannot say in your particular case especially since I am guessing what pill you took. There are pills to prevent a pregnancy called "plan B". which are over 90% likely to prevent pregnancy but are not 100% effective. They act as a large dose one time of the normal stimulants of some of the reproductive system. And they are gone in a couple days. This can perturb normal periods for one maybe two cycles but that is it. The hormones don't stay around and their effects do not last.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
