Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Instafree 72 Post Unprotected Intercourse?
Hi Doctor, I had protected sex with my bf on 20th may, but accidentally the condom got torn and no idea whether the sperms went inside my vagina or not. But to be safe I had instafree 72 within 12 hrs. Still are there any chances of me getting pregnant? My last period was on may 5th. When can I expect my next period. And is withdrawal bleeding compulsory? If suppose withdrawal bleeding doesnot happen in my case, am I safe?
I think it is not necessary to bleed after taking emergency pill. If your periods are delayed, do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. Sometimes, emergency pill do fail if ovulation has already happened. So, if pregnancy test is negative, you can be sure that you are not pregnant.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Khushboo Priya
