Hello,

If you are not planning for a baby then you should be on regular contraceptive pills. If not, you should not perform open sex, you should use condoms. Condoms also protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. CP pills only prevent pregnancy. In case of unprotected sex, you can take emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours of unprotected sex for prevention of pregnancy. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get pregnancy test done. You will be treated and managed accordingly. Menoline Forte DS is not a CP.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
