Hi there,

It is still too early for the urine pregnancy test to be fully reliable, and I would wait another week and retest again. You took the pill early at an ideal time, so your risk of being pregnant is relatively low. The pill also has the tendency to upset the normal menstrual cycle, so it is possible that this is why you are only having light discharge now.

Having said that, no contraception is 100% effective, so if by next week you still don't get your normal periods, test your urine again, or get yourself to your local doctor's for a beta-hcG blood test, which is a lot more accurate.

Regards,
Dr. Teh
