Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Plan-B?

hello, I had unprotected sex for the first time on June 22nd, my period was suppose to start on July 1st. My last period was on May 31st. my boyfriend claimed he didn t ejaculate but was scared about the pre cum. I took a generic version of plan b the next day. Is there a chance I might be pregnant ? It s July 2nd, maybe I m just paranoid, I don t know. Im very scared. Please answer my questions, thank you.

Hello.
Thank you for contacting HCM.

I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns.
Pre-cum also known as pre-ejaculatory fluid can cause pregnancy as there might be motile sperms present in it even before the male ejaculates....that is why withdrawl method of sex is not the most effective method of birth control. If you took the plan B pill within 72 hours of sex there are high chances of you not getting pregnant.
Contraceptive pills can disturb your menstrual cycle causing them to be earlier or later than the due date.
You do not need to worry at the moment. If you miss your periods by two weeks I would recommend you take a urine pregnancy test just to be confirm.

I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns.
Wishing you good health.
