Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Doc I had my period from 27th of August - 2 September. 2 September I had intercourse and the condom slipped off. On the 3rd of Septmber I took the plan b pill. A week later I am getting period. It looks normal...light the first day - heavy the next with cramps. Is this normal? Getting periods twice in one month? Could I be pregnant
Using plan B within 72 hours is highly effective so you don't have to worry about pregnancy. It causes a hormone imbalance and causing bloody discharge or period twice a month.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
