Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Plan B?

I took plan b about 10 days ago my last period was on the 26th of November and my period was supposed to come on the 24th of December but as you can tell I’m late .. the codom didn’t break or anything I just felt a bit paranoid and took plan b before the 120 hours could I still have a chance of being pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and understand your concern. You have not mentioned whether you had withdrawal bleeding after taking the plan B which you should have received five to seven days after taking it. After withdrawal bleeding happens , normal periods may sometimes be delayed due to hormonal imbalance. But if you didn't get the withdrawal bleeding there may be chances that you are pregnant. It can be confirmed by a Urine pregnancy test. Other causes of delayed periods are stress, PCOD and Thyroid disorders. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
