Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Postinor 2 Pill?

Please write your question here. please I had unprotected sex at my first day of fertile period and I took postinor 2 after 12hours and I had and unprotected sex the following day and I took another postinor two the following day ,have I overdose myself and will I get pregnant?

Hi,
Thank you for the query.I understand your concern.
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive . Being high dose contraceptive it is to be used sparingly- only in emergency only.Otherwise it can cause hormonal disturbance to cause problems of menstrual cycle.
* You had taken it twice in three days. You won't have chance of pregnancy... but repetition may cause menstrual delay & irregularity... so don't be scared if it's late.. just go for pregnancy test ( HTP ) after 8 days delay in menses to exclude pregnancy ... get rid of tension & patiently wait for period.
Use barrier contraceptive till menses are normal & then adopt cyclical pills/ IUD for a continuous protection.
