Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Postinor-2?

Hi, i hard sex on the seventh day of my period with a condom. i didn t trust the condom so i took postinor 2. My period came exactly one week early and it was light. it has being about 50days and i haven t had my period. i took the HPT twice on 35th day, but it came out negative. i have being having mild cramps. please, what could be the problem

I understand your concern.
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected intercourse.
The pill would protect against pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake.
Since you had light periods following its intake, it should ensure that you are protected. Also, pregnancy tests taken later are found to be negative.
The reason for your delay in periods after taking Postinor 2 could be due to hormonal imbalance.
This needs to be investigated for which you need to undertake certain blood tests and ultrasound scan of the abdomen.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
