Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Provera Pill?

Hey there, I recently had unprotected sex and have taken the morning after pill 14 hours later. Allthough I take the provera tablets (10mg) does that effect the morning after pill? I use them as directed and stop it each month to get my period but even when I m meant to get my period I don t get one. Should I stop taking my provera tablets now, or when I m next due to stop them? Because I have taken them today and should that effect the morning after pill and does it still work even though I don t get my period? Thanks!

Hi, I think provera will not affect the emergency pill action. You can continue taking the provera as scheduled. The chance of pregnancy is very little as provera can also act as a contraceptive if taken regularly. However, if your periods are delayed, do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
