Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking A Plan B Pill?
Hi so me and my boyfriend had sex last week and I was taking keflex, the condom broke so we went and got a plan b pill and I took it that night. I am on birth control and have been for about 3 years now. I was just wondering what my possiblity of being pregnant is... thanks
Hello dear I understand your concern Do not worry. Chance of pregnancy is nil, because You are on the double protection: You are birth control pill, it is highly effective in preventing the pregnancy.(Failure rate only 0.5 %) Again you took Plan B pill with in 24 hours and it also highly effective preventing the pregnancy (0-5% failure rate)
You are on the keflex and There is no evidence that it will affect birth control pills. So there is no chance of the pregnancy. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise and maintain proper pelvic hygiene. Hope this may help you
