Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Oral Contraceptive Pills?

Hi! I am on the contraceptive pill and have been for two years now. About three months ago I had unprotected sex and I am now worried that I could be pregnant. I ve had three periods since it happened and have taken two tests (both negative) but my stomach has been feeling bloated / hard/ rounded and so I m worried. Your help would be appreciated!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you don't have any possibility of being pregnant. You have been on contraception pills regularly and you have also had three periods since then. Also you had pregnancy tests and come out negative and all these facts make it absolutely impossible to be pregnant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
