Is Pregnancy Possible Devoid Of Fallopian Tubes In A 41 Years Old Female?
I m curious to how I still have a period and I dont have my fallopian tubes? Also I m 41 years old, if I wanted to have another baby, don t have my tubes....1) how can I have a baby? 2) What is the process? 3) being that I m 41 should I be working on getting pregnant now?
Periods are not related to the fallopian tube. They are related to the ovaries. So if you have ven a single ovary and no fallopian tubes, peirods will come. However without tubes it is not possible to get pregnant naurally. The tubes transport the female egg from ovary to the uterus. Not having tubes means that this road for transfer is not there. So the sperm cannot reach the ovum.
The solution for this is in vitro fertilisation [ IVF or test tube baby]. Here the ovum is removed from the ovary and is fertilized by the sperm artificially and then the embryo is transported to the uterus bypassing the role of tubes. So please contact an infertility specialist. You can have a baby by this method.
