Hello and welcome to HCM,
PCOS is a disorder in which the ovary is not able to produce mature ova or eggs.
Difficulty in conceiving is due to absence of mature eggs or ova.
The medication prescribed to you will help the egg or ova to mature.
Thus, you can expect to conceive after taking the medication.
Please stay in touch with your gynecologist.
There are couple of tests which need to be done to diagnose the condition.
After initiation of treatment, follicular scan needs to be done to assess the development of follicles and maturation of ova.
You need to stay in touch with your gynecologist for all these investigations and thus management.

Thanks and take care
